I've watched you
wash your hands
with cold water
after long days.
I have wondered why you
would want to be
woken up, shivering,
in shock,
and not be put to sleep,
comfortably, with warmth.
I then understood why
we must stretch outside
of what we know,
and branch out,
in order to grow.
